Prayer… a Right Way? a Wrong Way? and What About All Those “ism’s”?

by Guy T. Wehman on July 21, 2010

in On-Air Chat

Is there a right way to pray? Is there a wrong way? How do you know that your prayers are even being heard? Does God really hear them, yet alone answer them? And what about all those “ism’s” that you hear about? Joining Guy this evening is Will Davis Jr., and he’ll be exploring this with Guy, YOU and the rest of the Nightbeat Nation.

YAY! We’re back. I like the name “pray big” its cute

6 Kailee July 21, 2010 at 11:17 pm

Well Guy I love you too

I think praying big is just meaning you need to pray more. You can’t just have a normal prayer because God does not work that way. He wants that intimite moment with you. Also, God wants you ask for things…but things that are nor lavish.

I disagree. I think God wants you to pray for things that are meaningful. Not “pointless” things.

The food prayers crack me up. I think those prayers are useless. Really, the ones that never really mean it they do it out of “guilt”

I will tell you God did not love the Cavs. Because, I did pray for them…and they got screwed.
